What To Expect
Our goal is to provide a secure and loving environment for your children. Carefully read through these procedures and stop by the lower level Children's Ministries information desk on a Sunday morning.
Staff and volunteers are trained and screened. Our application process uses in-person interviews with reference and criminal background checks. For added security, all staff wear a photo ID. Operational policies are in place, but should the unthinkable happen, we have an effective response plan to quickly deal with security situations.
Check in your child at a computer kiosk.
Print a name tag for them and a coordinating parent label with a code that matches.
In the classroom, write down your cell phone number and any special instructions.
Turn in the parent label when picking up your child. Only send an adult from your family to pick up your child.
If your child is being treated with antibiotics for less than 24 hours or has any of the following symptoms, do not drop them off: fever, cough, diarrhea, impetigo, questionable rashes, active chicken pox, conjunctivitis/pink eye, measles, vomiting, strep throat or mumps.
Label all belongings (including bottles, pacifiers and diapers) with your child's name. For babies in the nursery, use the small diaper bag provided by the church.
