Men's Community

Our desire is to proclaim the glory of God to a watching world. We want to see men discipled through the Word of God and active in their faith by loving people, sharing the gospel and teaching others to observe what Jesus commanded in the Bible.

Activities

Scheduled throughout the year
Build friendships through shared interests, fun activities and service. Approximately once a month, these opportunities are designed for men to connect more personally with one another. Invite friends and neighbors. Follow the men's Facebook page to get the latest details.

BBQ
Sunday, July 15, 3–7pm, Elm Creek Park, Bluebird Picnic Area
Show up as your schedule allows. Bring a lawn game and a chair. Sand volleyball and horseshoe pit available. Dinner is at 5:30pm. Free will offering. Learn more.

CHICAGO-STYLE SOFTBALL GAME

Enjoy a great summer activity, get some exercise and connect with other guys. Watch for details.

CAMPING TRIP
Thursday­–Sunday, September 13–16, Sawbill Lake Campground
 Join other guys for an edge-of-the BWCA camp outing. The beauty of God’s creation in the wilderness and the fellowship of brothers is refreshing to the soul. This tent camping experience provides a taste of the Boundary Waters without the equipment portages. We'll be in rustic, Superior National Forest campsites with access to vehicles and day canoe trips into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with opportunities for fishing (valid Minnesota fishing license and gear required), hiking and quiet time. Sawbill Lake outfitters offers canoe and gear rental. Inexperienced campers are welcome. Limited to 12 men, post high school. Cost: $80–125. $25 deposit. Men's bible Studies

MONDAY STUDY
Mondays, October–May, 6:30–8:30pm, Parent/Child Room
Through study, encouragement, service and prayer this group is challenged to better understand and apply the truths from the Bible. 

WEDNESDAY STUDY
Wednesdays, September–April, 6:30–8pm, Family Center A1
This an opportunity for men of all ages to gather for the specific purpose of following of Jesus together in community. Practically, this objective is accomplished through prayer, intentional relationships and Bible Study.

FRIDAY STUDY
Fridays, ongoing, 8am, Sandberg Chapel
This multigenerational group of men digs into studying individual books of the Bible and discussion. Newcomers are welcome. No need to register.

Men & Women's Study

Mondays, September–April, 6:30-8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel
These inductive Bible studies use Kay Arthur’s Precept Upon Precept material. Delve deeply into the Bible through personal study, lecture and group discussion. Studies includes DVD lecture, approximately five hours of intensive weekly homework and group discussion.
