Women's Ministry is passionate about cultivating safe spaces for women to explore how to move toward Jesus and take others with them. We do this by providing a variety of groups that encourage relationship with God through His Word (the Bible) and healthy relationships with other women.
Bible Studies
The Way of Wisdom: Proverbs
Wednesdays, September 16–November 18, 9:30–11:15am, Family Center A
The Way of Wisdom by Lifeway Women, invites you to place your feet firmly on the path of life revealed in the book of Proverbs. As you consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management, leadership influence, and more, you’ll discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.

Precept Inductive Bible Study: 1 Timothy
Mondays, September 28–November 16, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel (men & women)
Wednesdays, September 30–November 18, 9–11am, Sandberg Chapel (women only)
Precepts is an inductive Bible study method that provides an overall understanding of a passage of Scripture—what it says, the intended meaning to the original audience, and how it can be applied to today. This study includes video teaching, larger group discussion and individual study each week.
How are the people in the church to behave? What happens when we hear teaching that is not the truth? Timothy, a young pastor, was told the answers to these questions in this letter written to him. It contains some doctrine, but also very practical instructions for how people in the church are to live.
The first class will include handing out the book, learning about the Precept inductive Bible study method, and getting to know others in your class.

Wednesday Night Studies
Wednesdays, October 7–December 2, 6:30–8pm, Sandberg Chapel
One room, two options! This fall, we are offering a choice between two non-video studies. Format and study length will be the same. You will be placed at a table with a group of women who have chosen the same study. Both studies are by Lifeway Women.
Alive: Growing in your relationship with Jesus
What does it mean to follow Jesus? What do Christians believe, and how do those beliefs shape the way we live?
In Alive: Growing in Your Relationship with Jesus, you’ll spend five weeks looking in the Bible and exploring the foundations of the Christian faith in a clear, approachable way. You’ll discover who Jesus is, what He has done, what it means to follow Him, and how faith takes shape in everyday life.
Together, we’ll explore practices that have shaped Christians for generations—including prayer, worship, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, giving, and serving others. You’ll also discover what it means to grow in faith, find your place in the Church, and live with a faith that lasts.
Whether you’re exploring Christianity for the first time or looking to strengthen your foundation, Alive is an invitation to know Jesus more deeply and discover what it means to live fully alive in Him.

Devoted: 30 days with women from the Bible
Sisters, daughters, friends. Queens, missionaries, mothers. From Eve in Genesis 3 to Eunice in 2 Timothy 1, the Bible mentions countless women who bear witness to the faithfulness and love of God. While each woman is unique, they all have one thing in common—a life interwoven with God's story of redemption.
Study more than 30 women in Scripture whose lives have inspired generations of women in their faith and devotion to God. Their stories are a reminder that you, too, are made in the image of God, and you have an important part to play in God's story.

God's View of You (for women)
Tuesdays, September 8–December 8, 7–8:30pm, Conference Room
Do you ever feel like you're just not enough? Trying to live up to others' expectations and your own standards of performance can leave you feeling anxious, exhausted and worthless.
Join other women discovering true biblical worth through Bible-based teaching, encouraging discussions and practical application. Experience the peace, joy and freedom that comes from understanding God's view of you.

Women's Discipleship Group
Tuesdays, October 6–May 18, 6:45–8:30pm, Adult Ministry Room
A small group of women growing in their faith by committing to daily Scripture study, journaling and prayer, and showing up for each other with authenticity and vulnerability. You can jump in any year as we cycle through this three-track program.
This year we will be in Track One which explores the overarching story of God’s redemption in the Bible, the character of God, and the heart of Jesus.
Cost: $12 (includes journal). Other books required at participant’s expense.
moms together
2nd & 4th Thursdays, October 8–May 13, 9:15–11:15am, Sandberg Chapel
Moms Together is open to women with children (birth–kindergarten) who desire encouragement and friendship with other moms in the same stage of life. These gatherings invite connection through speakers, creative activities, group discussion topics and icebreaker games.
Yearly Cost: $50/mom; $80/per child
MOMS Playdate
Thursday, September 24, 9:15–11:15am
Meet your table group for a playdate. You will be contacted by your table leader prior to that date with more information.
