2nd & 4th Thursdays, September 28–April 26, 9:15–11:15am, Fellowship Room
Caring for preschoolers (ages birth–kindergarten) involves the unique combination of fulfillment and utter frustration. You might feel inadequate, isolated, lonely or just totally exhausted. But you don’t have to struggle through the challenges alone. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is open to all women who desire encouragement and friendship with other moms.
These gatherings invite socialization with other moms, including brunch, speakers on relevant topics and creative activities. This year’s theme is Free Indeed. In order to unfold our wings this year, we will proclaim favor by letting love be the loudest voice, proclaim release by being gutsy, and set free by going first. Check out this short video introducing the Free Indeed theme.
MOPPETS is the MOPS children’s program for preschoolers. It has a spiritual emphasis with playtime, stories, crafts and snack, but is not a preschool. To learn more, contact MOPS Childcare.
There is a $107 program fee and a MOPPETS fee. The program fee is split into three payments: $47 registration fee, $30 September dues and $30 January dues. The MOPPETS fee is based on the number of children registered. First child is $55 for the year. Each additional child is $15 for the year. Half of the MOPPETS fee is due in September and the balance in January.
The program fee covers the required MOPS International membership, creative activities, hospitality and speakers for the year. The MOPPETS fee helps cover childcare, snacks and crafts.
If you have financial constraints, contact MOPS registration about scholarships or alternative payment plans.
As part of our service to one another, each mom, along with her small group, is asked to provide brunch twice during the year and to serve in a MOPPETS room one morning. You may, however, opt out of serving in a MOPPETS room by paying a $25 fee to help offset the cost of additional childcare workers.
We want to help you discover the right fit as you use your gifts and skills to serve God and others in the church and community. Learn more.
