Well, EmyG continues to display the tenacious spirit God has given her. She has opened her eyes to look at her Mommy and Poppa when they call her name. Her heart rate slows when she is held, sung to and spoken to. She can grip with both hands, though she is still weak from the devastating infection. She won the battle against sepsis and is no longer in sepsis shock. She has brain activity. She needs to be weaned off the ventilator, but every indicator is she will breathe on her own. Please continue to pray for this tiny bit of God’s creation. Please pray for Ezra and Rebekah as they navigate this heart wrenching era of their lives. Please pray for EmyG’s complete restoration of body. Our God is the Almighty God and He has tiny EmyG in His great hands.
If you are reading this, I would greatly appreciate if you could pray for my mom daily. She has marital issues and does not know what to do. Her husband consistently lies to her about really big things. Please pray that she is able to control her temper and set a good example for him and to continue to love him. She also needs a job. Please pray for her to feel God’s comfort and know His wisdom. Please pray for me daily as well. I want victory over several sins and I’m always doubting my salvation. I feel hopeless sometimes. I fear going to hell. I need wisdom about whether or not I’ve triply repented and what that even looks like. Please pray that my Mental health is under control and for healing from OCD and bipolar.
We were given the devastating news that our precious EmyG has suffered massive strokes that have caused catastrophic brain damage. She can still hear, responds to her Mommy and Poppa and calms when they soothe her, but she is blind now and the strokes cannot be stopped. She will continue having them. We are leaning so hard in Jesus right now.
Will you please pray for Lida. She is Pastor Vasek’s wife from Sumperk in the Czech Republic. She has a very serious intestinal infection that has spread to her blood (sepsis) and she has been in ICU in Sumperk and is being moved to a larger hospital in Olomouc about 45 minutes away that has greater resources. She is very sick and needs our prayer….she is a wonderful and godly woman and she needs our prayers.
EmyG isn’t out of the woods, but she is relatively stable compared to the hectic roller coaster she was on yesterday. The drs are still “very concerned”, but are feeling things are “trending better”. Yesterday is scary. The family was called to the hospital. I finally got to meet her Monday night and the rest of the grandparents, uncles and aunts met her yesterday. We were terrified.
While I have been asking God for a mate for a long time, there is one particular lady that I am interested in meeting but not sure how to it might happen. A relative knows her and will ask her about talking to me. Pray with me that I might get answers to this prayer to at least talk to her very soon as well as others things in my life I am praying about. She is a good Christian woman and I pray God might open her heart to dating again and I might get to meet her soon.
