Thank you for your continued prayers for our EmyG. She has been doing fairly well these last couple weeks, with no crises. The stability has been awe inspiring for us as we know it is God who has, yet again, been working miracles in her little body. Praise His Holy Name for His presence over her.
She is still, of course, in critical condition and in ICU. The next step will be to attempt another permanent catheter placement in 2-3 weeks, then trying to turn it on and get it functioning 3-4 weeks after that.
Ezra and Rebekah are needing your prayers as they navigating living at the Ronald McDonald House and traveling between there and the hospital, about a 10 minute commute, through all the barricades, National Guard and police. They have been restricted from travel in the evenings and have not been able to visit EmyG freely due to curfews. Though EmyG has a 1:1 nurse, 24/7, she is completely immobilized in in need of lengthy periods of stimulation with toys and interaction the nurse cannot always give due to the constant demand to monitor her medical needs. So, not having her parents there is very difficult for her, and, of course, for Ezra and Rebekah.
Please pray for EmyG’s overall health as she continues to deal with CRRT dialysis, which is very uncomfortable with her.
www.babymenon.com is her blog. Please visit there for updates if you don’t see them here.
