Thank you to those who prayed about the situation in Minneapolis. Unfortunately the curfew was not initially taken seriously (and to some extent even after forceful action was taken). Please continue to pray for our governor, mayor, and citizens; the National Guard, the Twin Cities police chiefs and the police officers including the ones involved in Mr. Floyd's death, and even those who came here to create problems. As Christians we need to pray about everyone, not just select groups. There may be a re-occurrence of this situation, but maybe not. In the meantime we can also look to what God is telling us about this, aid those affected by the property damage, and remember that God is in control.
Follow-up to our prayer request from May 8....Thank you for to everyone who prayed for my husband Larry. He had surgery on May 13 to remove and biopsy the tumor; it came back positive for High-Grade Urothelial Carcinoma - a type of bladder cancer that is aggressive. He has a PET scan on June 1st, Oncologist appointment June 2nd, Surgeon appointment on June 3rd. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors whether to do surgery first or start chemotherapy (they aren’t sure his kidneys will be able to handle it), peace, protection from COVID-19, and perseverance for Larry. Please pray that he won’t worry about Being a burden to me and the family; he is used to taking care of us. Thank You in advance for your prayers!
Thanks so much to everyone who prayed for my 90 yr. old mother, Jean, and her salvation. Mom passed away on Sunday, May 17 in Rochester, MN. Only one of her children could be with her at a time due to the pandemic, but fortunately my oldest brother was with her when she took her last breath. The day before, I was able to be with her for 2 hours when she was awake. I had not heard her speak for one week, yet before she closed her eyes and I kissed her goodbye, she said clear as day, "Hallelujah." I had never heard my mother say that word in her entire life! I believe that God's angels were ministering to her and doing battle for her in the spirit in response to so many of your prayers! The veil in her heart was torn and she spoke her praise to God with her final word, "Hallelujah." I prayed for Mom for 43 years, hoping that she would choose to surrender her heart to the Lord. I have seen many wonderful answers to prayer over the years, but this is the most beautiful miracle I have ever witnessed. Be encouraged, Saints! Keep praying and never give up! Luke 18:1
We are regular attenders who live in Minneapolis and are very concerned that the renewed arson and looting will hit our precinct this weekend or in the next two weeks. The curfew is a joke and has only kept the honest at home. The situation this Friday night is intolerable as if we are in a war zone. Please pray for peace! And better planning and wisdom by the officials and help for the owners of the small businesses and places that have been destroyed among other things.
Please pray for my son, Emanuel, and all other National Guard soldiers activated to deal with the Protests, for safety and wisdom
Please pray for Robert. He's had a headache since yesterday and his stomach is in a place of discomfort right now. Please pray for his healing that God will place His hands of love and compassion and renew his health. Also, please pray for a personal problem he is having (seems like he gets bored easy of something) this is not a new problem, it's something he has always struggled with, pray that God will strengthen him in the midst of it and help him to remain faithful to me (sarah) in spite of it. I pray God puts into his heart a greater amount of love and through this love enable him to get through it and not turn to another for comfort. Please pray that God will bind his heart to His and mine and help us to get closer and redeem our family. We have a daughter together, I dont want us to get divided. I pray any plans of the enemy gets canceled. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
