Please join me in my prayer for my grandson in the military who will be going through some rigorous training over the next four weeks. He needs prayer for stamina, mental strength, and focus. He needs to be reminded to be strong and of good courage.
My son is a single parent of a toddler (our granddaughter). He has some very stressful circumstances in his life and is struggling in every way at this point and is finding parenting very difficult. He lives in a state some distance away and does not have much support. Thank you for praying for encouragement.
Please pray for a friend of mine whose life has crumbled around her. She has been dealt several losses recently, which have discouraged and disheartened her. She is no longer interested in going to church even though she has regularly attended all her life until now. She has always has amazingly strong faith in the Lord, but sometimes the pain of life makes His light seem dim. I wish I could help her in the way she’s helped me through the years, but I feel she is beyond my help. May God’s grace and peace be with her and guide her back to joy and love.
Update from Jake’s Surgery: For Jake’s broken arms the surgery went well – he now has 4 plates and 26 screws. He is resting at the Myles' home. The plan is to splint for 2 weeks, then evaluate and probably remain in splints versus putting in casts. He’ll need a lot of assistance in the weeks ahead. Pray for both Jake and his Mom, Sherry who have said it’s been a struggle to ask for help in life. May the love and light of Christ shine in this moment to point them point to the True Helper found in Jesus Christ!

Thank you so very much for praying for my mom, Susan St. John, and her recent surgery on her femur. She is now in that recovery and rehab stage, and dealing with a lot of post-operative pain. It has meant the world to her that so many in our church family have been praying for her.
