Please pray for my Mom who is in the hospital and very sick with sepsis and other issues that will likely require surgery. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, healing for Mom according to God’s gracious will, and for peace for both of us.
Emanuela made it through today’s surgery to place the hemodialysis catheter. They are right now starting the hemodialysis. Prayers are covered for at this time. It has to go well for the next phase to happen—change to the permanent peritoneal catheter. The hemodialysis will sustained her after the peritoneal dialysis catheter is replaced and will give the placement site time to heal. They are starting hemo right now.
Pray for our ReachGlobal global workers in Asia, several of whom are supported by NHC. They are holding their biannual Asia conference virtually on Tues, Wed, and Thurs (Feb 16-18) due to restrictions from COVID-19. Pray that God would speak mightily to each participant, for technology to work well and not be a distraction, and that the workers in and to Asia would be thoroughly equipped for every good work through this conference.
Emanuela did well in the surgery and is now back in the NICU recovering. Thank you for your prayers. They ended up only doing one aspect of the surgery (placing the hemodialysis catheter) and plan on doing another surgery to place the permanent catheter in the coming days. It’s good to have her back in her little spot in the NICU all safe and sound.
EmyG’s care conference was yesterday and we are encouraged by the drs plans for her. She will be having surgery early next week to replace the temporary PD catheter with a permanent one. Because they waited until she is now big enough to do hemodialysis, they will also put in a catheter for that. That was excellent news. That means there will be no significant break or reduction in her dialysis, which they would have had to do had they done the replacement earlier. It would have meant going back to day one of her dialysis as a premie and that would have been very high risk. Now they don’t need to do that. She will be getting dialysis immediately through the hemodialysis cath while they wait for the peritoneal catheter site to heal Completely. We are so encouraged. Clearly this catheter replacement timing is an answer to prayers and we are yet again reassured that God has tiny EmyG in His Almighty Hand!
Please pray for my mom Lorraine’s salvation and pray for her healing. She lost her hearing, has memory loss, bad posture, body pain, and blood pressure issues. Pray for excellent health. Pray for a long life for Lorraine, in Jesus’ name. Pray for the removal of debt regarding Lorraine, in Jesus’ name. Pray Lorraine’s possessions last a hundred times longer and become newer each day. Also, please pray for salvation and excellent health and long life for my uncle Seve and aunt Jackie.
I have an update about my mom Leslie. She had her hysterectomy a few days ago and the doctors said they got rid of all the cancer but they are going to give her a round of chemo just to be safe. Praise God! Thank you for your intercessory prayers for her. May God bless all of you and your church family.
