Summer Family Connections
As disruptions to work, church, relationships and life continue, one thing is certain—staying connected to Jesus and others is a key to navigating the adjustments well. We’re hearing from so many of you who miss meeting face-to-face with your church family. While the challenges we all face may be difficult, our longing to be together says something beautiful!
With wisdom and safety prioritized, we’re arranging some unique opportunities to connect this summer. We believe God has creative purposes in mind as we all anticipate the upcoming months a bit differently than originally planned. Keep posted for more details on these connections as they unfold. The Children & Family team is creating video-based content for your family to take part in together. This weekly family worship experience includes digital Bible lessons and activities. You’ll find weekly videos available for your family to watch together any time. Watch your email for access details.
Church-on-the-Go kits are available the first week of June, July and August. These intergenerational materials are designed to help your family interact in Bible lessons, service projects and meaningful conversations. Pick up a kit at the main campus reception desk M–F, 8am–4pm or on Sunday mornings.
As at-home restrictions are lifted, we’re looking forward to inviting small groups of families for gatherings on the church grounds. Keep posted for schedule and details.
Kids Day Camp
Monday–Wednesday, August 17–19, 9–11am or 6–8pm, New Hope Church
With consideration to the latest CDC parameters, we’re providing an on-campus, outdoor day camp experience. The theme is Training Camp, encouraging kids to explore how God loves to personally teach and train them in their everyday lives. Having faced unusual challenges over the past months, kids may be particularly eager to learn how relevant and life-giving Jesus is in the midst of life’s unpredictability.
For children, ages completed kindergarten–completed grade 5. A preschool, parent-with-child option is also available at the day and evening sessions. Contact Children & Family Ministries to learn more about volunteering. No cost. Space is limited. Registration is required and available mid-July.
