We are driven to see men move toward Jesus and take others with us. This is best done in two ways. First, we must be men of prayer and the Word. Second, we need to be in intentional, discipleship community with other men. Men's Ministry is designed to achieve these two goals.

If you are new to New Hope Church or have questions about how to get plugged in, we'd love to chat or meet for a cup of coffee. Reach out to Men's Ministries.

LAmplighters BIBLE STUDY: John 12–21

Wednesdays, January 11–May 3, 6:15–7:45pm, Ministry Center

This second study of John begins six days before the Passover and concludes sometime before Christ’s ascension into heaven—a period of less than 50 days. You’ll walk with Jesus into the upper room to hear His farewell discourse to the disciples—words recorded nowhere else (John 13–17). You will also follow Him as He is tried by both civil and religious courts and brutally crucified. But then rejoice when He is raised from the dead to the amazement of the disciples and the chagrin of the religious leaders. These last ten chapters of John’s gospel contain a record of Jesus’ most intimate relationship with His disciples and His unfailing love for the church today.

Ruth Precept Study

Mondays, April 10–May 1, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel (adults)

If you were a slave, who would buy your freedom? If you had an enemy, who would come to your defense? In the Old Testament, this buyer-defender known as a "kinsman-redeemer" was usually a close relative. If you're a believer, you already have one—Jesus Christ!

This rich study shows how Jesus both bought us (redeemer) and advocates (defends) for us, offering us an opportunity to rebuild our broken lives. A great short study to introduce friends to a taste of inductive Bible study.

Cost: $9 (book + registration fee). Register by April 3.

Fridays, ongoing, 8am, Sandberg Chapel

Committing to dive into God’s Word together, this group encourages each other to grow as men of God to serve and draw others to Him throughout the week. No registration required.

Men's Service Team

As we receive requests for help around the church or within the church community, we need guys who are available to help from time to time. There is no commitment other than to be notified of the opportunity to serve. We’d love to have you as part of the team! To be added to this list, contact Men's Ministries.

We have a group of leaders dedicated to this ministry, but we are always looking for more leaders to help us drive the mission forward. If you want to help lead, contact Men's Ministries and we’ll take you out for a cup of coffee to talk about how you can get plugged in.
