We are driven to see men move toward Jesus and take others with us. This is best done in two ways. First, we must be men of prayer and the Word. Second, we need to be in intentional, discipleship community with other men. Men's Ministry is designed to achieve these two goals.

If you are new to New Hope Church or have questions about how to get plugged in, we'd love to chat or meet for a cup of coffee. Reach out to Men's Ministries.

Bible studies

LAmplighters BIBLE STUDY: John

Mondays, September 19–May 1, 8–9pm, Zoom
Wednesdays, September 21–May 3, 6:15–7:45pm, Ministry Center

This study invites you to discover Jesus’ true identity. You’ll be a silent witness to Jesus’ conversations with a religious liberal named Nicodemus, a woman who was married five times, and a man born blind. Some are blinded by their own religious and social prejudices, but others will be turned to Him in simple saving faith. As you read their responses, you’ll naturally examine what you believe about Jesus and the Apostle John’s original purpose for writing the Gospel (John 20:31).

Intro Class: Monday, September 12, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel
Mondays, September 19–December 12, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel

Why are there so many divisions in the church? Why does the church sometimes tolerate sin? What does God say about marriage, divorce, remarriage? Tongues? Prophecy? Giving? Learn how Paul addressed these issues raised by Corinthian believers.

Precept is an inductive Bible study method that provides an overall understanding of a passage of Scripture—what it says, the intended meaning to the original audience, and how it can be applied to today. This study includes video teaching, larger group discussion and individual study each week.

Fridays, ongoing, 8am, Sandberg Chapel

Committing to dive into God’s Word together, this group encourages each other to grow as men of God to serve and draw others to Him throughout the week. No registration required.

Discipleship GROUPS

Real Groups

Tuesdays, September 20–May 16, 6am, Sandberg Chapel

Authentic, intentional, growth-oriented discipleship focused on becoming more like Jesus. Real groups meet weekly to focus on deepening relationships with others, personal spiritual growth and being equipped to disciple others who God places in our lives. Learn more.

Every Man a Warrior Groups

Wednesdays, September 21–May 3, 6:15–7:45pm, Ministry Center

Groups walk through the Every Man a Warrior series based on personal Bible study, memorization and prayer. Meet with your group each Wednesday to sharpen one another. Book 1 teaches how to have a quiet time and how to share about that time and become a man of the Word. Book 2 addresses marriage and family. Book 3 teaches on money, sex, work, hard times and making your life count. Register individually or as a group.

Men's Service Team

As we receive requests for help around the church or within the church community, we need guys who are available to help from time to time. There is no commitment other than to be notified of the opportunity to serve. We’d love to have you as part of the team! To be added to this list, contact Men's Ministries.

We have a group of leaders dedicated to this ministry, but we are always looking for more leaders to help us drive the mission forward. If you want to help lead, contact Men's Ministries and we’ll take you out for a cup of coffee to talk about how you can get plugged in.
