Shepherd, Poet, Warrior, King September 20–November 29 Commander and king of Israel, as well as storyteller and musician, David stands out as a central biblical figure. Most strikingly, his life marks a foreshadowing of the life of Christ. He’s introduced as an unlikely leader—forgotten, dismissed and passed over. Ultimately, his life is an epic, nail-biting drama along with all the notable failures and heartaches. This series invites you to connect with and learn from David, while simultaneously embracing a deeper intimacy with Jesus.
