Kintsugi, making things new, repairing a bowl with gold leaf. Kintsugi means golden joinery. The Japanese used this technique to repair a broken tea cup or bowl, and make the object even more valuable than when it wasn’t broken.

Several times a year, we exhibit original artwork by the New Hope Church family and community with the intention of glorifying God and inspiring us to walk toward Jesus. Our upcoming gallery is In the Garden, and we are taking submissions until October 17. For more information and inspiration, check out this article.
