Men
Men's Ministry exists to help men find authentic community and take their next step with Jesus. Through a variety of groups, men are equipped and encouraged to grow in their relationship with God and build meaningful relationships with other men.

Practicing the Way
Wednesdays, October 7–December 9, 6:30pm, Ministry Center
Feeling spiritually stuck? Want to become more like Jesus, but not sure what that looks like?
This fall, become an apprentice of Jesus through this 8-week course. In community, you’ll learn foundational principles and participate in daily practices—like prayer, fasting, solitude, sabbath—to break the formation of this world, start doing what Jesus did, and become more like him every day. This goes beyond a typical Bible study and explores practical, spiritual disciplines for deeper formation in Christ. Take the next step in becoming more like Jesus.
Cost: $5. Bring a Bible and a notebook.
On Mission 4 God: Training Ground
Wednesdays, ongoing, 6:30–8pm, Ministry Center
Take your faith to new levels as we enter into training for living On Mission 4 God. Building on our daily spiritual rhythms (worship, prayer, reading God’s Word), we will explore audio-visual materials, hear from guest speakers, discuss biblical topics in table talk groups, and practice role playing to learn how to engage the world around us. Occasional movie or podcast will be provided to prepare for table talk groups. Shadow men sharing the gospel. Plan and execute missions with other men.
Let the training adventure begin! Activate your mission, your future, shoulder to shoulder with other men. Missional lifestyle involves living in community with others.
“We have not been called to hold the fort, but to storm the heights.” Robert E. Coleman
Cost: $20. Scholarships available.
Precept Inductive Bible Study: 1 Timothy
Mondays, September 28–November 16, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel (men & women)
Precepts is an inductive Bible study method that provides an overall understanding of a passage of Scripture—what it says, the intended meaning to the original audience, and how it can be applied to today. This study includes video teaching, larger group discussion and individual study each week.
How are the people in the church to behave? What happens when we hear teaching that is not the truth? Timothy, a young pastor, was told the answers to these questions in this letter written to him. It contains some doctrine, but also very practical instructions for how people in the church are to live.
The first class will include handing out the book, learning about the Precept inductive Bible study method, and getting to know others in your class.
Cost: $26
MEN'S Friday BIBLE STUDY
Fridays, ongoing, 8am, Sandberg Chapel
Committing to dive into God’s Word together, this group encourages each other to grow as men of God to serve and draw others to Him throughout the week. No registration required.
Oaks Discipleship GROUP
Tuesdays, October 6–May 18, 6am, Sandberg Chapel
Oaks is a disciple-maker program for men to study the Bible and selected books that will challenge both the heart and mind. This leads to—day-to-day, moment-by-moment—intentional and relational connection with those we interact with.
We meet to study but also to gather socially in a variety of ways to build genuine community and connection.
Cost: Varies based on books needed.
Men's Service Team
As we receive requests for help around the church or within the church community, we need guys who are available to help from time to time. There is no commitment other than to be notified of the opportunity to serve. We’d love to have you as part of the team! To be added to this list, contact Men's Ministries.
Leadership
We have a group of leaders dedicated to this ministry, but we are always looking for more leaders to help us drive the mission forward. If you want to help lead, contact Men's Ministries and we’ll take you out for a cup of coffee to talk about how you can get plugged in.
