Women

Women's Ministry is passionate about cultivating safe spaces for women to explore how to move toward Jesus and take others with them. We do this by providing a variety of groups that encourage relationship with God through His Word (the Bible) and healthy relationships with other women.

Bible Studies

Heaven

Wednesday, January 7–February 25, 9:30–11:15am, Family Center A

Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next?

In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what's true about heaven from what's based on legend, media depictions and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don't just wonder about heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace.

Cost: $23. Registration opens December 2.

Sermon on the Mount

Wednesdays, January 7–March 18, 6:30–8pm, Sandberg Chapel

Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right—a study on blessedness, Lord's Prayer, religious devotion, money, ambition or relationships.

What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus?

This 9-session study from Jen Wilkin invites you to do just that. Come and learn from Jesus, just as His disciples did.

Cost: $25. Registration opens December 2.

Precept Bible Study: John

Mondays, 6:30–8:30pm, Sandberg Chapel (men & women)
Part 2: January 5–February 23

Wednesdays, 9:30–11:30am, Family Center C (women only)
Part 2: January 7–February 25

How well do you know the Son of God? Are you convinced that what He said about Himself is true? From beginning to end, John reveals Jesus as the Son of God.

Precepts is an inductive Bible study method that provides an overall understanding of a passage of Scripture—what it says, the intended meaning to the original audience, and how it can be applied to today. This study includes video teaching, larger group discussion and individual study each week.
